TABS is a membership association which collaborates with government agencies and other key stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of delivery of Bikeability cycle training. The training is designed to give the next generation the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today’s roads. We work closely with our members to enhance their scheme’s potential, quality and professionalism. This 5th national Bikeability conference is organised by TABS and will host about 200 delegates including representatives from cycling organisations, local authorities, School Sports Partnerships, small and large Bikeability scheme instructors and trainers.
The event offers anyone involved in any aspect of delivery and management of Bikeability the opportunity to attend interactive workshops, network, share ideas and best-practice and receive industry updates.
Workshop topics include, inter alia: IQA, A good look at Level 3, supporting new NSIs, integrating special needs children, promoting Bikeability – the brand, Bikeability Plus module discussions, national standards and infrastructure, monitoring and evaluation and much more in parallel sessions.
