Travel 2020 is the showcase for passenger transport innovation. |
Travel 2020 is cross-modal event focussed on the travel offer and experience rather than the hardware on which people ride.
Whilst vehicles and their specification are of crucial importance in determining the quality of public transport there is much more going on in the offer to customers that can affect their choices.
From information about services and how they are running to ease of purchasing a ticket or even not needing one at all, the whole way in which people relate to bus, train and also air and other forms of passenger transport is changing rapidly. Travel 2020 brings together innovators to share experiences, debate and do business.

During the two day event, we will have more than 60 expert speakers addressing keys themes around technological, customer service, product and management issues affecting the way in which passenger transport services are planned and delivered, and opportunities explored for new product offers and enhanced relationships with users.
Over 800 professionals came to the first Travel 2020 exhibition in 2010, which was a sell-out. This year's exhibition will be even bigger and better, double the size, with 70 stands spread over 2 floors.
We will be showcasing cutting edge technologies and innovations for ticketing and payment, transport modes and passenger information, customer service and operational development systems.

The response to the inaugural Travel 2020 event was overwhelmingly positive and the arrangements for the 2011 exhibition and conference have now been confirmed. It will take place on November 2-3 2011 at the Kia Oval London with more than double the exhibition space allowing for 70 stands.
Exhibition Director Matthew Knight said: "We are really delighted at the response to the first year's show. Exhibitors have told me that the format really worked for them and many valuable conversations took place about future business."
