Mobycon Masterclasses: 5 & 6 September |
|||
These exclusive Masterclasses show the Dutch approach to building cycling infrastructure and creating the right environment to encourage levels of cycling in a city, leading to recognised benefits both in public health and in making transport more sustainable. Mobycon are a Dutch transport consultancy with over 30 years’ experience delivering cycling projects in the Netherlands and abroad. Moving cyclists over junctions and roundabouts in a safe way is a vital component of a cycling city. At points where roads meet, and traffic can turn, pedestrians and people on bikes are particularly vulnerable. These events take an in-depth look at the principles and ideas that make Dutch junctions and roundabouts safe for all. These masterclasses include hands-on activity, giving each participant the chance to put pen to paper and re-design an existing junction using Dutch best practise. |
