We would like to thank Savills and WSP for sponsoring and especially Portsmouth City Council for hosting the event, producing the study tours, serving on the programme committee and hosting the evening reception at Emirates Spinnaker Tower. 

We'd also like to thank Green Commute Initiative for providing bikes for the cycle tours and the exhibitors, speakers, and delegates who overcame the weather conditions to attend.

For the second day, regional travel conditions worsened to the point of being unsafe, and the event venue couldn't open on grounds of risk to health and safety. Following advice from Hampshire Constabulary, we had to take the difficult decision to abandon Day 2 of the Transport + Health Summit. However, day 1 was a success, and we applaud everyone who worked hard to make it so.
