This year Parking World will be looking at how parking and traffic management policy is evolving to meet the challenges of new vehicle technologies and major concerns around air quality.
There will be a focus on: the provision of parking in town and city centres; the role of parking in improving air quality; how parking data is central to the evolution of connected cars; providing for the growth of electric vehicles; and the economics of parking.
The programme has been developed in discussion with Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London (PATROL), a body which represents over 300 English and Welsh local authorities, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal.
