Mainstreaming Smarter Travel is the second LSTF Networking Forum for representatives from all 96 funded areas.

Just over 400 Senior managers and LSTF project leaders attended our inaugural 'Re-Booting Smarter Travel' event last year.* (Held in Bristol 2-3 December 2012)

Living Streets is the national charity that stands up for pedestrians. We work to create safe, attractive and enjoyable streets, where people want to walk. Over the past 80 years, our campaigning has led to the introduction of the driving test, pedestrian crossings and 30mph speed limits.

Today we influence decision makers nationally and locally, run successful projects to encourage people to walk, and provide specialist consultancy services to help reduce congestion and carbon emissions, improve public health, and make sure every community can enjoy vibrant streets and public spaces.

Our Walk to School outreach project aims to drive up walking rates in 98 areas where the school run is having a significant negative impact on congestion, journey times and economic growth.
