SNC Lavalin's Atkins Business, Venturer Venturer was a three-year collaborative project in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, which investigated the barriers to the adoption of connected and autonomous vehicles in the UK. Consortium partners included lead partner Atkins, along with AXA UK, BAE Systems, Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire Council, First Bus, University of the West of England and Bristol Robotics Lab. The panel said: “SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins “VENTURER” project is a ground-breaking collaborative project that looks like it will really deliver on it’s objectives”

Best Connected Transport Award

The UK is a leader in the research and development of Connected & Autonomous Vehicle technology. There are now over 60 pilots, mainly funded through the UK government / InnovateUK. This award will recognise the project teams that are pushing the envelope and making CAVs a reality in our generation.
