Smarter Travel 2015 is the 3rd in a series of events and follows the sell-out 'Mainstreaming Smarter Travel' held in Manchester in December 2013, where 450 delegates attended.
The programme features a mix of networking discussion, panel debate, keynote presentation and streamed sessions providing a knowledge sharing platform for delegates.
It is also an opportunity from delegates from a number of different sectors to network with each other, share good practice, find opportunities for cooperation, and to discuss the future of smarter travel.
The innaugural Smarter Travel Awards recognise the contribution of smarter travel to sustainable transport. The Awards will be announced at Smarter Travel 2015 on 5th February 2015.
The Smarter Travel Panel, made up of experienced practicioners, will be chaired by Richard Armitage FCILT. Richard is an independent transport professsional with many years' experience of designing, delivering and evaluating sustainable transport in the UK and abroad.
