Norman Baker MP and Prof. Phil Goodwin will headline this unique opportunity where all Local Sustainable Travel Fund (LSTF) awarded regions come together to knowledge share, network with each other and discuss effective implementation of projects.
The event begins with a roundtable discussion group session on the afternoon of Wednesday December 5th, where project teams have the opportunity to get to know each other, and talk over the key topics and challenges they face followed by an informal networking drinks reception.
The Multi-Streamed Conference on Thursday 6th December features presentations, panel discussions, and streamed workshops with leaders, Programme Managers and practitioners of LSTF projects from around the country. |
|
The LSTF comes at an opportune time, when attitudes towards sustainable travel are changing, reflected in declines in car use. This event will look to explore ways in which the many excellent policy initiatives can join together, and how smarter travel is supporting a higher objective.
