SYSTRA is a leading transport planning and public transport engineering consultancy with over 3,500 employees in 78 countries worldwide.

Our centre of excellence for transport planning and modelling is located in the UK, it is built upon more than 45 years of experience. Throughout this period we have been at the forefront of transport modelling, strategy development and appraisal.  We have advanced best practice and provided strategic to detailed guidance on the development and application of transport models throughout the UK and overseas.

On a daily basis, at SYSTRA we continue to develop and use  complex multi-modal models including Transport for Scotland’s LATIS model, city models in London, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham and county/regional models in Hampshire and the Republic of Ireland.

SYSTRA acquired the MVA consultancy in 1993 and rebranded MVA in January 2014.

Privately owned by employees, Aurecon formed in 2009 when Africon, Connell Wagner and Ninham Shand announced the formation of a new global group.

PTV Group is a market leader in the development of transport planning, traffic engineering and logistics planning and optimisation software worldwide. The solutions of PTV Group are cutting-edge and state-of-the-art and our clients apply our software on innovative and sustainable projects and designs.

The PTV Vision Software suite including Visum, Vissim, Viswalk, Vistro, Safety, Balance, Epics and Optima can cater for every scale needed from strategic transport planning and traffic engineering to operational planning, pedestrian engineering, safety analysis and real-time predictive modelling. The PTV Logistics Software Suite includes solutions for the scheduling and optimisation of transport routes and trips, distribution planning and fleet management as well as truck navigation and parking.

Legion - Stand 8

Legion is a Software Development company focused on understanding how people interact with infrastructure. Users find on Legion the same common ground, the focus on their final clients, being them passengers, pedestrians or fans attending to major events. Our software accurately simulates and analyses the step-by-step movement of pedestrians across all kinds of public facilities, such as:

• rail and metro stations and bus terminals

• airports and sea ports

• sport, entertainment and leisure venues

• commercial and public buildings

• major international events (eg. Olympic games)

• city streets (including interaction with vehicles)

The ultimate goal of a Legion project is to optimise the flow of people and the efficient use of physical space: a goal that has a dramatic impact on costs and revenues associated public facilities as well as safety and the quality of service for clients.

TSS-Transport Simulation Systems (TSS) has a singular focus on algorithms, software and operational know-how for mobility applications in strategic transport planning, traffic engineering and mobility management.

TSS develops, markets and supports the Aimsun traffic modelling software environment, which integrates travel demand modelling, macroscopic functionalities and the mesoscopic-microscopic hybrid simulator – all in a single software application.

TSS also develops and markets Aimsun Online, the real-time decision support system for traffic management. Its dynamic, high-speed simulation of large areas allows traffic operators to accurately forecast the future network flow patterns that will result from a particular traffic management or information provision strategy. 

Now with offices in Barcelona, London, New York City, Portland OR, Paris and Sydney, TSS services over 4,000 licensed users in 75 countries. Aimsun licensees include government agencies such as FHWA, NYCDOT, NYSDOT and SANDAG in the USA; Transport and Main Roads Queensland and Transport for NSW in Australia; the Expressway Authority of Thailand, and the Mairie de Paris in France.
