I have worked with TfL since 2006.

Rachel Aldred
Senior Lecturer
Westminster University
Rachel Aldred is a Senior Lecturer in Transport at the University of Westminster, and leads Westminster's MSc in Transport Planning and Management. Cycling is her specialist area. She conducts both qualitative and quantitative research, as well as being involved in academic modelling projects. Recently, she led the ESRC funded 'Modelling on the Move' seminar series, which brought different perspectives together in dialogue on modelling, from public health practitioners and local transport policy-makers to engineers and geographers. At Modelling World her presentation will draw on themes from the seminar series to explore the traditional marginalisation of cycling within modelling. Charlotte May
Senior Transport Planner

Charlotte spent her early working life in teaching and environmental management in Germany, Italy and Spain. She then spent 12 years working for the British Medical Association in health policy, communications and international roles. From 2008 to 2012, she worked as Sustainable Transport Advisor for three North London boroughs. She is currently a Senior Transport Planner at Waltham Forest, where she leads on cycling policy.

Richard is a committed advocate of sustainable transport and cycling in particular. He has over 14 years’ experience in town and transport planning and most recently helped Kingston to win up to £35m of funding to enable the development and implementation of its ambitious mini-Holland programme.

Mark Chetwynd

London Grid Board and Royal Borough of Kensignton and Chelsea
Mark Chetwynd has chaired the Board of the Central London Cycling Grid since Spring 2013. He is responsible for transport policy in the Kensington and Chelsea, and has overseen a number of cycling projects in the borough, including two-way cycling on one-way streets – for which the Council received a National Transport Award this year.

Matthew Hill is the Public Realm Programme Manager for Southwark Council. He has worked for Southwark for 4 years having previous experience in consultancy, with TfL and other London boroughs. He is a transport planner by background. His responsibility in Southwark is for all highways capital project delivery including the Council's cycling programme, as well as 'soft' projects including road safety and sustainable travel.
