A range of educational study tours are planned to take place across the borough of Waltham Forest on 28th September. Study tours will provide delegates with an opportunity to meet with lead engineers and planners to find out more and to learn from highly successful schemes including cycle routes, villages, town centres and complimentary measures.

Town Centres - This tour will focus primarily on Walthamstow and Leyton town centres. It will feature a 14km cycle ride around both commercial and residential areas and will showcase the range of interventions required in order to provide benefits to all members of the community. Meet at 3.15pm outside Walthamstow Assembly Hall. |
Complementary Measures – This tour will focus on our suite of resources that support the cycling infrastructure that is being constructed, and will feature residential cycle parking hangars, station cycle hubs, cycle hire points, community planting schemes and the Selborne Road Air Quality Scheme, followed by a cycling initiatives presentation in Vestry House Museum. Meet at 3.15pm outside Walthamstow Assembly Hall. |
