nextbikenextbike began in 2004 with 20 bikes in Leipzig, Germany and are now the leading producers and operators of bike sharing systems around the world. With over 35,000 bikes and presence in over 120 cities across 23 countries, no other public bike sharing system, can provide a larger international network of rental bikes. With the experience and know how, we have supported 100’s of cities and organisations in planning bike share systems, which are tailor made to meet their needs in a cost-effective way. In our 2-year presence in the UK market, we’ve launched 7 successful schemes and operate almost 2,000 bicycles, with many more in the pipeline. In June 16, we saw our 250,000th rental since the launch of our first scheme in Bath in June 2014. Next to Bath residents and visitors of Glasgow, Stirling, Belfast, University of Warwick and Milton Keynes can now enjoy the cycling revolution. In October 2016, nextbike partnered with Co-Bikes, and Exeter saw the launch of the first ever 24-hour electric bike share scheme in the UK. Nextbike has a proven track record in delivering high profile schemes in partnership with blue-chip brands including Coca Cola and Santander Personal Banking. This, combined with more than a decade of expertise across borders, enables us to position these companies as ecologically clean and sustainable. The nextbike network is growing faster than ever and we are always looking for new cities to work in. If we are not yet in a city that you would like us to reach, please get in contact to discuss this option. Please visit www.nextbike.co.uk

SustransSustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We are engineers and educators, experts and advocates. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Sustrans works in partnership, bringing people together to find the right solutions. We make the case for walking and cycling by using robust evidence and showing what can be done. We are grounded in communities and believe that grassroots support combined with political leadership drives real change, fast. Whether you are a local authority commissioner focused on keeping people moving to support economic growth, or a health trust professional prioritising increasing people’s physical activity levels, you face the challenge of delivering more with less. We use our skills in behaviour change, community engagement and changing the built environment to work with you to: • Connect people and places

City ConnectCityConnect is funded by the Department for Transport’s Cycle City Ambition Grant – money ring-fenced for cycling and active travel improvements.
