Stand 1. iTravel York 

iTravel York is the LSTF funded  programme delivering integrated projects supporting personal, business and school travel planning, combined with targeted infrastructure enhancements to increase people’s travel choices. Similar to it's predecessor, Cycling City York, i-Travel York is very much a partnership project, run alongside a range of organisations within the city, with the council leading the way and coordinating a holistic city wide approach.

i-Travel York aims to inspire people in York to help look after our city by keeping it moving, keeping the air clean and promoting personal health and well being by making sustainable travel choices . The promotion of cycling is at the heart of the iTravel York programme. As a result of Cycling City and iTravel York projects between 2008 and 2014 cycling trips in York have increased by 35%

Stand 2. York Bike Belles and Sustrans  

York Bike Belles is York’s cycling community for women.

It is a partnership project, delivered by Sustrans and funded by i-Travel York, and encourages more women in York to cycle, more often!

The Bike Belles social community has organised lifestyle rides, monthly socials, cheese and wine bike maintenance workshops, bike loans, community events  and much more… A unique blend of fun, socialising and healthy outdoor activity guarantees that women gain confidence on a bike, discover the best cycle routes around town, make new friends and progress on their cycling journey!

In only its first year York Bike Belles has engaged with over 700 women at organised rides and events and over 5000 women by way of social and other media.

Stand 3.  Streetsure

Streetsure provides street furniture and cycle parking infrastructure solutions to the public and private sector markets. Our manufacturing facilities, quality sourcing and proven project management capabilities, allows us to supply and install complete solutions from cycle racking systems shelters and compounds, folding bike lockers, associated signage, CCTV, Bike Control systems and much more.

Streetsure has experience in working on large contracts, for example, Marylebone and Waterloo stations and Transport for London, and also supplying cycle parking solutions for residential schemes, local authorities and the education sector throughout the UK and Europe.

Falco has worked on some of the largest cycle parking infrastructure projects in the UK including; 1,000 cycle parking spaces for the UK's largest CyclePoint at Chelmsford Railway Station, a bespoke 144 space cycle hub, 32m bus shelter and taxi shelter for the newly refurbished Derby Midland Railway Station, the UK's first ever cycle hub for Leeds city station, a 668 cycle park for aircraft manufacturer Airbus and Bike&Go cycle parking facilities to over 30 railway stations UK wide.

20’s Plenty for Us works with over 250 local campaigns to make their places better places with 20mph as the default across complete communities. Already more than 20 of the largest 40 urban authorities have adopted this to provide a foundation for walking and cycling strategies as well as increase road safety and reduce noise and emissions.

Cyclehoop Ltd was founded in 2008 by Anthony Lau. Inspired by the theft of his own bike, Anthony designed the award-winning Cyclehoop that converts existing street furniture into cycle parking.

Based in London, the company has since launched a range of products that are helping cities, businesses and homes solve the problem of bicycle parking and theft. 

Designed and made in Britain, Cyclehoop is expanding their business internationally and exports to 15 countries around the world.
