Bike Citizens focuses on cycling promotion, app technology and data analysis for cities. Started with 1,500 Euro the company has been founded in 2011 by two former bike couriers and now employees up to 31 people based in Graz and Berlin. Along their way the company sold their self-developed smartphone mount Finn 450,000 times worldwide. Their main concern is to offer people more orientation and safety with their Bike Citizens app (available in over 400 cities in over 36 countries) which includes routing and navigation, gamification, benefit programs, campaigns and informations channels. The company analyses the data they gain for cities and for research projects to improve cycling conditions everywhere. Together with municipalities and companies the team keeps on developing tools to spill the joy of a daily ride through cities to get more people on bikes.
