Bikeshare/ All Points Payments

BikeShare.ie has implemented, operates and maintains the public bike sharing schemes in three cities in Ireland on behalf of the National Transport Authority (NTA). The three cities are Cork, Limerick and Galway.

Since the initial rollout in late 2014, the bike schemes have proved to be a great success with the public.  The NTA have plans to expand the scheme in Galway later this year and to add additional cities in 2017.

BikeShare.ie offers a complete one-stop shop service for municipal authorities to develop and implement a bike share scheme. These services include:

• Civil Works – design and implementation of civil works requirements. Project management and coordination with appropriate bodies such as planning authorities, councils and utility suppliers

• Day-to-day operations - station re-balancing, maintenance, customer care and stock control

• Website & App development – design and development of tailored website and associated mobile app

• Interface software (In-house developed) for customer and back office operations that includes:

  • Customer Card Fulfillment

  • Data Analysis

  • Fleet Control

  • Station Data

  • Faults Recording

  • Open API

• Asset management system

• 24 hour Call Centre – call centre service that is available to assist customers with their queries and issues

• Reporting – monthly report with full data analysis of bike movements and associated issues

• Project management – qualified project managers available to manage initial installation and expansion of schemes
