WSP | PB is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms. We bring together our 34,000 staff, based in more than 500 offices, across 40 countries to provide engineering and multidisciplinary services in a vast array of industry sectors, with a focus on technical excellence and client service.

We bring a synergy between the requirements of transport planning, engineering and placemaking: ensuring that scheme development embraces innovation and good practice but is underpinned by robust and evidenced decision making, ultimately providing connectivity solutions which achieve the optimal balance of functionality, sustainability and place.

We possess an enviable portfolio of public & private sector schemes, which include the development of the DfT’s National Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan and the regeneration of Earls Court, for which we are transport lead. We work on a vast range of schemes, from the rethinking of existing high streets through to the design of new cities.

We take projects from conception through to implementation, and being a multi-disciplinary consultancy, clients benefit from being able to utilise complementary in-house skills and expertise in areas such as environmental planning and structural design.

Our work is informed by our high-profile and innovative research for central and regional government, which includes Manual for Streets 1 & 2 and guidance on Ultra Low Emission Vehicles. We have built on leading-edge research into connected and autonomous vehicles to explore new thinking and ideas.

We have a long and successful history of supporting London boroughs, TfL and other London public and private sector clients, including work on Kingston’s Mini-Holland programme, developing plans for the City Fringe Low Emission Neighbourhood and transport planning support for the pedestrianisation of Oxford Street.
