Why attend?

The majority of local authorities have declared a climate emergency. This timely one day conference will take a detailed look at the potential implications for highway services of moving to a low carbon economy, and consider the actions that the highway sector can implement to assist the journey to carbon neutrality.

The SWHA Highway to Zero Carbon Conference aims to equip delegates with knowledge that senior highways practitioners can apply in their day job to reduce carbon impact. There will be a focus on recent successful case studies and proven approaches to decarbonising the highways sector.

Places at the conference will be allocated to senior practitioners from across the highways spectrum, providing excellent opportunities for networking and more informal sharing of both good practice and cautionary tales. Local Authorities are advised to register early for free attendance as high demand is anticipated.
