N2 - Vivacity

Vivacity has developed and patented award-winning Artificial Intelligence technology that continuously captures and classifies live transport usage, 24/7. Our sensor hardware provides continuous and anonymous streams of data on all forms of mobility – from pedestrian to cyclist, car to HGV, and everything in-between. Vivacity has over 3000 sensors deployed across the UK, on roads, footpaths, in rail stations, and even on sports pitches gathering unprecedented data for our clients. Our Machine Learning based predictive capability consumes historic and live data about a road network, and uses this to predict traffic levels in the coming minutes and hours. Vivacity are currently developing an UTC System using Reinforcement Learning to modernise the control of traffic signals.
