Jonathan Martin

Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor, with a degree in Surveying from Southbank University. Jonathan joined Waltham Forest in September 2015. He has been concentrating on spearheading mixed-use housing led delivery and inward investment in the borough through an Economic Growth Strategy that targets key regeneration areas, programmes and projects, into the borough. As part of his remit, Jonathan is also responsible for the ensuring strategic growth in priority areas in the borough, which includes a GLA endorsed Housing Zone, and a creative enterprise zone (that builds on the borough’s creative and workspace ethos). Jonathan leads four teams that includes Strategic Regeneration, Business Growth & Investment, Employment & Skills and Adult Learning Services. Jonathan works with his teams to provide a market facing department to deliver the borough’s Economic Growth agenda.
