Basemap are experts in processing and utilising transportation data and launched their first product TRACC in 2013 to critical acclaim. TRACC is a multi-modal journey time software application that allows public transport and Highways information to be edited and evaluated to look at how making changes to the network can affect journeys.  There are over 500 users of TRACC across the United Kingdom, Europe and North America and it has been used to inform many major transport schemes, plan new developments and monitor transport accessibility throughout the world.

Basemap have vast experience in processing and evaluating public transport data which they provide to central government agencies. This data powers many web applications and allows users to create and edit timetables for service operators using its sophisticated timetable editing tools.

Basemap launched their innovative new Electric and Autonomous Vehicle Router Software (EVR) in May 2018. EVR has been designed for Electric Vehicle and Mixed Fleets in collaboration with UK leading experts in battery efficiency from The University of Surrey. This unique route optimisation software, powered by Artificial Intelligence, solves the issue of range anxiety by ensuring there is sufficient charge to return to depot while creating optimised and cost-effective routes.
