A-T-R is a specialist transport data collection provider, with a committed partnership approach and reputation of effective project management and reporting. We ensure we consistently meet and surpass our client’s expectations. We offer a wide range of traffic survey services using highly experienced staff and specialist equipment.

In March 2010, Robert Hawkins, Andrew Brewster and David Hawkins, company directors launched Advanced Transport Research. Having identified the opportunity to invest in an established and experienced team within the industry, they felt there was a gap in the market to launch a company that would focus on quality, and work in partnership with its clients to develop solutions that clients actually needed. Andrew and David are recognised within the industry as two of the most experienced operational leaders in the field, having in excess of 20 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for Capita Symonds, CAPITA and Count on Us. They are regularly consulted by market leading manufacturers to undertake saturation testing and advise in the development of new technology as a result of their wealth of knowledge.

We carry out traffic, noise and pollution surveys for individuals and organisations across the UK, using precision monitoring equipment installed and tested by CSCS, NRSWA and LANTRA 12D accredited technicians. Our customers include home-owners, parish councils, property developers, engineers, transport planning consultants, and government bodies.
