Our well maintained fleet includes city bikes, tandems, tourers, mountain bikes, an Iceni family trike, and a Carla Cargo trailer. Want a one-way ride? We collect afterwards. Repairs – retail or corporate Retail repairs to a high standard by our trained professionals. A courtesy bike whilst yours is repaired. Contract maintenance of corporate bike fleets, with fleet rental or lease options. Electric Cargo Bike Loan Scheme We provide electric assist cargo bikes for the EU-funded Triangulum Project, on behalf of Manchester City Council. We loan cargo bikes out free-of-charge to businesses and organisations wanting to try-before-they-buy (or rent). Cycle logistics Our Salford-based sister company, Last Mile Manchester, delivers parcels for DHL Express and other customers by modern cargo bike in the congested city centre. Public bike share We have extensive experience of public bike share operations, and pioneered the use of bikes with trailers for hire bike repositioning. Bambino BikingMore ways to cycle with your children Bambino Biking specialises in helping families cycle with their children, normalising cycling as an every day transport option for commuting, utility cycling and leisure journeys such as the weekly shop or taking the kids to see friends. Bambino Biking Trial & Advice sessions give parents and carers advice on different cycling set-ups for their family’s needs, based on the children’s ages, type of bike, where they want to cycle, and when they want to cycle. Parents and carers can try our wide range of equipment such as trailers, bike seats and tagalongs. This is ideal for comparing the differences between brands, prices and models of family cycling equipment. Our Trial & Advice sessions run in parks in Manchester and participants pay a small charge. We can be booked for events to provide an interesting and worthwhile family friendly attraction. We work with organisations to help increase cycle participation such as cycle to work, particularly when commuting with children is seen as a barrier. Bespoke packages are available for workplace Trial & Advice sessions. Bambino Biking Family Cycling Library offers long and short-term hire of family cycling equipment for people to try out different set-ups before committing to buying or for a one-off trip where a specific piece of equipment is needed. Equipment can be hired from the Manchester Bike Hire shop in Salford or at one of our pop-up library venues in Manchester. |
