Go Travel Solutions

Formed in 2008, Go Travel Solutions is a specialist consultancy for sustainable transport, serving communities, employers, transport authorities and travel providers. 

The social enterprise now employs seven full time staff with offices in Leicester and Bath and holds at its core, the following aims:

• Sustainability - to reduce carbon impact through both the enterprise’s operations and in the solutions that it provides to clients and partners;

• Health and social well-being - to provide transport solutions that enhance social well-being and motivate greater physical activity;

• Economic activity - to support local communities through enhancing transport connectivity for access to employment and leisure opportunities.

The organisation is focused on bringing together the best in transport, environmental and marketing practice. With over 60 years' combined experience and expertise in these disciplines, it helps stakeholders and clients maximise their mobility whilst minimising environmental impact and costs.

Reflecting the company ethos in 2015, Go Travel Solutions (in partnership with Harris Ethical) started the Communities Connected CIC. This offers an innovative way of undertaking local consultations including personalised travel planning, by working with job seekers to enhance their employability, in turn increasing local social and economic impact. This Spring Go Travel Solutions will launch Smartgo as a national package for employers, providing travel discounts with promotions for enterprises of all sizes and from all sectors. Added to this for 2016 will be a new suite of tailor made services for commercial developers, community transport enterprises, facility managers, further and higher education establishments, health providers and transport authorities.
