CA Traffic are a leading traffic monitoring company offering a range of technological instruments and software systems ranging from basic pneumatic tube counter classifiers to full ‘real time’ ITS systems and Intelligent ANPR camera solutions. 

At this show CA Traffic will be exhibiting the latest Black CAT cycle radar and Black CAT classifier with integrated cycle detection, setting new benchmarks in cycle detection and safety.

The Black CAT Radar has been enhanced to improve both slow speed operation and the detection of multiple objects travelling in the same direction, enabling the Black CAT Radar to accurately count bicycles even when travelling in groups. Units can be mains or solar powered and offer GPRS communications. This offers clients a complete above ground solution for cycle counting, particularly useful for remotely located cycle tracks.

The Black CAT classifier with integrated cycle detection can either be used as a dedicated cycle way device, or as a combined unit with the capability to count and classify vehicles in a roadway and also cycles on an adjacent cycle path. Offering clients significant savings in hardware infrastructure costs.
