CityConnect

CityConnect is West Yorkshire’s CCAG funded programme to improve cycle facilities across West Yorkshire. Delivered by West Yorkshire Combined Authority this programme’s focus is to create the first elements of a cycle network that in addition to providing a safe and attractive routes for cyclists, works as part of the overall transport strategy, designed to balance the needs of all road users.

CityConnect is also delivering a series of campaigns and engagement activities across the region including; helping people to access a bike, get back on their bikes, develop and improve their cycling and bike maintenance skills and encouraging them to use the cycle superhighway and other infrastructure. These activities will include working with businesses and centres of education to help them become more cycle friendly.
